TAPPING INTO SOUTH AFRICAN CULTURE WITH NANDO’S

The South African Nando’s team at VML tasked us with coming up w/ new ways to make Nando’s more culturally relevant within the country, while considering ways we can boost their in-house delivery service. The brief noted that South Africans endure a lot within the country — high crime rates, electrical grid blackouts, government corruption— so they wanted to lean into some of those current issues in a cheeky and witty way.
